Leadership Team
J. Corey Donahue
Managing Partner
A lifelong entrepreneur, Corey brings over 20 years of creative real estate investment experience across both residential and commercial markets. Prior to co-founding AVANI, he founded Bettr Homes and RYZ Roofing, and served as Founder and COO of Second Avenue, a third-party SFR platform that deployed nearly $3 billion into the single-family rental space.
Earlier in his career, Corey was an equity holder and Head of Central Florida for Invitation Homes (a Blackstone company), where he oversaw the deployment of over $1.2 billion. He managed the acquisition, renovation, leasing, and management of more than 12,000 single-family homes, leading a team of over 350 employees and 1,000 contractors.
Recognized as a leader in the SFR sector, Corey has spoken before thousands of industry professionals on topics including deal structuring and real estate financing. He also serves on the boards of several nonprofits supporting foster care initiatives.
Corey lives in Tampa, Florida with his wife and five children.
Dino P. Christoforakis
Managing Partner
Dino is the Co-Founder of AVANI and Founder of Vential Investments, with over 20 years of experience in real estate investment, capital markets, and development across the U.S. and international markets. His expertise spans all major asset classes and investment strategies.
Previously, he led transactions, asset management, and portfolio strategy for office, retail, and mixed-use properties across major North American markets at AFIAA, a Swiss global pension fund investment foundation.
Earlier in his career, Dino managed acquisitions, dispositions, and asset performance for retail, industrial, residential, and mixed-use assets along the U.S. East Coast at MCB Real Estate. He has also held leadership roles at real estate firms in both the U.S. and Europe.
Dino holds an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from The George Washington University and serves as a District Council leader and active member of the Urban Land Institute.
He lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
